We awake to a beautiful day in Jerusalem.  I thank God for safe passage on our 23 hour transit via Toronto and Tel Aviv.  I thank God for my travelling companion Joanne and for the other 32 members of our group.  This is a rich place with many layers of beauty, history, struggle emotion, and that is on a good day!  Being sleep deprived and managing the many transitions of travel, it is easy to feel overwhelmed.  So we look to the God of this land, to the Lord who wept and prayed for this city and people, to the Prince of Peace as navigate the many levels of travel as a pilgrim.  I am also trying to manage many layers of tech. as this is the first blog I have kept and am juggling iphone and pc laptop, with various downloads and platforms and passwords.  Sometimes I feel like I did in the Old City of Jerusalem yesterday, asking, "Where am I?"  My hope is that photos and videos and audio clips will give you a 'feel' for what I am experiencing and hopefully this will be edifying to you.  I will pause for now and see if my 'introductory video' has been posted.  More later.  Shalom / al salaam a laykoum, Paul
