One more sleep...

Excited to return to the Holy Land after 35 years. I lived and studied at The Institute of Holy Land Studies for the school year 1983/4. It is now called Jerusalem University College www.juc.edu and I look forward to showing Joanne the foundation stones dating to Roman times, my former room and the views from the garden overlooking the Hinnom valley 'Gar Hinnom' which used to serve as the city refuse heap many years ago. Because of the constant burning and smoke, one of the Hebrew words for 'hell' is taken from it; "gahenna".  I am sure the view now is nicer than the view was then!
