Outreach Outside The Church

St Cuthberts is active in outreach and serving Christ in both our local community and the global community. Here are some areas that we are active in:

Northcrest Senior Centre

Through Songshine on Tuesday mornings, once a month Communion, and every second Sunday afternoon. There is a service of readings and Prayer, singing and compassion of Christ to Northcrest residents.

Front Room Ministry

Providing Meals & Support for people with HIV and AIDS. There is a basket in the Narthex to put your egg cartons, cloth shopping bags, and food requested throughout the year.

Operation Christmas Child Shoe Boxes

In October/November, the parishioners assemble Christmas packages for needy children around the world. Samaritans Purse picks the country in most need.

Camp Artaban Society

Summer Camp for children.

There are many other outreaches that originate from our church to the rest of the world: Fellowship of the Least Coin, PWRDF, our yearly Lenten Study, and Northern Clergy Family Fund.

We also regularly sponsor individuals and groups involved in missions and missionary work. In the past we have had parishioners do mission trips to: International China Concern, & Hope International.
